iPhone 12 Indian Variant Unboxing And First Impressions ⚡   A Worthy Successor

So finally Apple launched its iPhones in India and here we are, we got an iPhone 12 Indian variant. And I'm super excited about this unboxing and review of iPhone 12. I know you are also super excited to get your hands on this iPhone 12. I was waiting to review this from the launch and finally, we got a unit and we are going to do a detailed review. And I'm really excited to know-hows its camera going to be, so let's get started…….

 

Retail Box :-

So when you first, open the box you will see the iPhone 12 placed in it. You will get various color options but we have red. In the box, apple provided only iPhone, lighting to USB cable, sim card tool, apple stickers, and some documentation.

 And there is nothing else, means no charger included. For this Samsung and Xiaomi trolled the apple. So basically you will get only iPhone and lighting cable, nothing else. LOL

Looking on the iPhone I image if this is small then what about iPhone 12 mini. iPhone 12 fits in my palm then why should you buy an iPhone 12 mini. Lamao….. 🤣

Yeah but design is completely different from the previous iPhones.

First Impressions:-

so the in-hand feel is absolutely nice and yeh it got sharp edges. So people are talking that they might get hurt with the edges but that’s not the case I mean it got edges but not that sharp that it can hurt someone. In fact, due to this design, it perfectly fits in hand and doesn't slip from and you get a better grip.

Let's talk about its weight; it is of 163g but it feels super light compared to other phones and absolutely gorgeous phone I have ever held in my hands. It got 5 color. So our unit is red or you may call it slightly pinkish than red but it looks pinkish red but it looks good.

Build quality :–

So if we talk about build quality, you will get front and back metal sandwich design. On the back, you get a glass and in front, you get ceramic glass which is one of the toughest glass ever. The frame is made of aluminum which is quite light and durable for the frame. So overall excellent combination in build.

Ports and Buttons :-

Now talking about ports, you got a lightning port in the middle of the bottom, speaker grill, mic, and noise-canceling mic. On the right, you got a power button and on the left, you get volume rockers, an alert slider, and a sim card tray.

Display :-

Compared to iPhone 11, this is a major upgrade. Like you can feel the difference in the display, software camera, or anything you can think of. Let's take display, this time you will get a super XDR display which is basically an OLED display compared to the previous display(which is retina display means LCD display basically) this display is way better and you can make out the difference.

Talking about the size, the display is of 6.1-inch FHd+ and comes with HDR 10 support and brighten up to 1200 nits; but it's only of 60 Hz. This panel is really bright. And yeh also they have reduced the bezels; the chin of the phone also gets reduced which gives a feel of extra display but still you get the head notch.

Camera :-

Let's talk about the camera, one thing I want to tell you is that  64MP pixel or 48 MP pixel are just numbers this iPhone gets only 12 MP + 12 MP camera on the back. the primary sensor is of f/1.6 aperture so it is really bright and the second one is wide-angle with a 120-degree field of view.

The front camera also comes with 12 MP. These are the camera specs and these don’t impress in no. but if you take photos from it then you realize what kind of beast are you holding in your hands.

The videos of iPhone are unmatched if you compare with android phone videos as you can take 4k HDR videos and the dynamic range is unmatched. It comes with OIS (optical image stabilization) so very stable footage. Overall the camera is absolutely great. 

 Performance :–

This is the first phone which is on 5nm technology (A 14 Bionic) and this processor is a hexacore processor; in GPU it has 4 cores. Overall if you combine this processor with iso 14.1, the experience you get is absolutely awesome.  Although the display of 60 Hz you get feel of 90 Hz and the touch sampling rate is of 120 Hz giving an immediate response.

Battery :-

The thing iphone 12 lacks is the battery, comparing to iphone 11 it is slightly low but apple claims that coupled with this processor battery is more efficient so it doesn’t matter in giving less capacity battery.

Apple doesn’t provide charger but it comes with the support of 120 watts of fast charging, 15 watt of wireless charging.

Multimedia Experience :–

 As I previously told you that the display is stunning but the speakers are also pretty awesome. iPhone 12 got stereo speakers which are very loud and the speaker quality is absolutely nice.

Sensors, connectivity and other features:-

There are lots of sensors, so in this iphone you will get NFC and they also get the magneto meter which helps in wireless charging and you will also get face id.

For connectivity, you will get 5G in this Iphone 12 series. They also gave you dual sim but one is the physical and the second one is e-sim so you can use the dual sim. It also comes with wifi calling support which is based on wifi 6 and for Bluetooth, it comes with Bluetooth 5.0

This phone is waterproof, yeh it's waterproof coming with IP68 certified up to 6 meters. Due to its ceramic glass it is tougher, so if slips from you hand and fall down then there will be no crack in its screen.

Taling about the base variant, it is coupled with 6 Gb of RAM and 64 GB of ROM. I think this is not fair, they should give 6 + 128 as the base variant.

Price and availability:-

This phone starts with the price tag of Rs. 80,000 and goes up to Rs. 90,000.
